On our day 2 in Bangkok we went to Floating Market Dumnoen Saduak after the Maeklong Railway Market! Our tour guide Mr.Banchong told us that the floating market in Bangkok already closed so that's what lead us to this Dumnoen Saduak Floating Market.
Dumnoen Saduak Floating Market is located at  Ratchaburi, Thailand. The people in this province are mostly farmers and agriculturist. They are selling vegetables, fruits in an old traditional way which is from a small boat. We hired a boat to bring us around the canals.
 

 
Mango sticky rice!! A must try food in Thailand!! It is made of steamed sweet rice, mangoes and coconut sauce! So yummy until we finished our first plate and buy the 2nd plate!

Had some coconut drink under the hot sun! Soothing! We bought 4 coconuts and it cost 100 baht.

Had so much fun eating and window shopping in the boat. Window shopping? Why? This is because my friend told me that the things selling here are expensive cause it's tourist spot so we just bought some fruits and mango sticky rice to eat. What I don't like about the market is the boats with engine are so noisy. The boat engine is exposed without cover and the smoke came out from the engine produce air pollution and smelly.  Other than that all are ok. You must visit floating market at least once if you come to thailand. 

 
 
 
Siam Ocean World
After lunch we went to Siam Ocean World!!! Siam Ocean World is an aquarium in Bangkok, Thailand, and one of the largest in South East Asia. It is located two storeys underneath the Siam Paragon shopping mall. It's all about sea animals! All of them are so special that make me so curious to meet them and snap photos non stop!

Had so much fun at the Siam Ocean World. We have limited time to visit this place cause rushing to the next destination - Madame Tussauds Museum. We missed some zones. For your information they have the Thailand's first 4D theatre, observing the marine creatures from a glass-bottom boat and touring the 'back of the house' to combing the ocean floor in a diving suit and 180-degree helmet as well as diving with the predators and their prey in the 'Open Ocean'. Go experience it if your are visiting Siam Ocean World!

 Woohoo it's day 2 in Bangkok!
The second day was the most places visited day!
I'm going to talk about our first destination of the day -- Maeklong Railway Market!

From wiki, I have known that the railway became famous for its route through the Maeklong Railway Market, nicknamed (Thai: Talad Rom Hoop), meaning the 'Umbrella Pulldown Market'. It is one of the largest fresh seafood markets in Thailand, and is centred around the Maeklong Railway's track. Whenever a train approaches, the awnings and shop fronts are moved back from the rails, to be replaced once the train has passed.
The railway is one of the slowest in Thailand, and the average speed for the whole line is only 30km/h. 
We woke up earlier on that day and gathered at the hotel lobby at 7am. Our tour guide Mr.Banchong told us we must go early cause the traffic in Bangkok is really bad on weekday cause it's working hours. The schedule on that day was packed cause we have 5 destinations to go. So we must reach Maeklong Railway Market before the train arrive and it is around 9am.
The traffic was very bad and it took us 1.5 hours to reach there around 8.30am. Thank God we reached before the train but we got another news said that the train has delayed to 10.10am!! So late!! We can't do anything and just waited there until the PA system announced the train was coming.

By the time waiting we took pictures, videos and shop at the railway market. Alot of fruits, vegetables, meats, seafoods are selling there.

See the picture below? They were keeping the vegetables in plastic bags! That's mean that the train is coming!!! Yeah! What I saw was the merchants were calm and slowly preparing for train arrival. I was so curious and worried for their vegetables because the distance between vegetables and railway tracks are so near! The train won't crush the vegetables? O.o

 
 Let's see how they pull their umbrellas up and down and the train coming! Interesting! 

 
Did the train crushed vegetables? NO! The distance was so near but the height from the floor to bottom of the train was tall enough to let the vegetables survived! =D   After the train passed by all merchants just have to pull down their umbrellas and continue their businesses. How interesting is that?

Wooohooo! It was my first time visiting Bangkok! I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport (Suvarnabhumi means "The Golden Land") and our tour guide Mr.Banchong send us to our hotel. It was our 4 days 3 nights Bangkok graduation trip for my bf. 
 
Enjoyed the view when taking noon flight to Bangkok. Blue sky and clouds under our plane. Wow! Awesome view that make me always grab the window seat! Worth it! Finally I am able to take airplane window shots with my Samsung NX1000! 



 
Our first destination was The famous Four Faced Buddha at Erawan Shrine which is the heart of Bangkok. The funny thing though, the Four Faced Buddha is not inside a Wat (temple in Thai), it is just in a small patch of land at Phloenchit Road corner Rajadamri Road. 
The Four-Faced Buddha literally has four faces. The first Face starts in a clockwise direction from the entrance of the shrine which represents the Face of Peace and Health, Face of Good Fortune, Face of Good Relationships and Face of Protection against Evils. People offer garlands of marigold flowers, lotus, young coconuts, candles and incense sticks to the Four-Faced Budhha at the 4 corners in a clockwise direction. Often, if a wish has been granted, people thank the spirits by donating teak elephants, gigantic candles or commissioning the classical Thai dancers and musicians to perform to the Gods. Many Thai use gold leaf and make an offering-by placing the gold on the wooden elephants. 




 

 
After the four faced buddha we went back to our hotel. Let's take a tour of our room!
Eastin Hotel is a 4 stars hotel. We have book 4 rooms for 3 nights which 2 persons each room. I have no complain to our room. The toilet is clean, the bedding got no weird smells, the water heater works well, the kettle works well too. There are 2 bottles of mineral water provided everyday. There are LAN and wifi provided in each room. You can enjoy wifi by getting the password wrote on a paper from the service counter, the password expired in 12hours. After expired you have to take another paper from the counter. So on our second day we took few password papers to spare. Hahaha!!
Thank God they provided facial cotton too cause I forgot to bring to Bangkok! XD


 
The swimming pool look awesome but I don't have the chance to try it cause period time! =( I think swim at night time is better cause you can avoid the hot sun and the vehicles sound come from the big road beside. Bangkok had a bad traffic!

After a nice shower we went to Chinatown to have our dinner! Casual wear in the hot weather. We took taxi to Chinatown for 200 baht! So expensive. The tour guide told us that the price should be around 100 baht. All taxi passed by told us the same reason - traffic jam so we have no choice cause we are hungry too! My friend said we should wait until a taxi charges in meter.

 
The famous T&K seafood restaurant in Chinatown Bangkok. I have read many bloggers recommend this place is a must to try out cause the seafood here is cheap and yummy! There were 2 seafood restaurants at the same street side by side so you must recognise their uniform which is in GREEN color!

 Grilled squid! So juicy and yummy! Even I don't like to eat squid but when I first bite it I was like OMG so yummy! We ordered again after we finished this plate.

 The total bill for our dinner was 1370 baht = around RM137 for 8 person! Wow! that's cheap for a yummy seafood dinner! Definitely will come again on my next Bangkok visit!
